Williams first spouse was Hester Boler and the mother of at least Joseph Tarkington Boler born in 1872. Nancy Mahala Bockover Boler was his second wife and mother of Marion Simpson Boler, W. Otto, Albert Benjamin, John T., Laura Ellen and perhaps more children.
