Cherie Christine Schubert, 16, of Uniontown, KS, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, in Uniontown as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
She was born Dec. 21, 1989, in Emporia, KS. She attended Uniontown High School until the beginning of this school year, when she transferred to Fort Scott (Kansas) High School.
She is survived by her mother; Erica Gwen Schubert, of the home; two brothers, Dalton James Herring and Brendan Mikhail Herring, of the home; her grandparents, Charles and Lora Schubert, Americus, KS; and two uncles, Ben Schubert and his wife, Jennifer, Emporia, KS, and Mark Schubert, Silver Bay, NY.
The Rev. Paul Rooks will officiate at the 1 p.m. Saturday funeral services Grace Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will be in Hatch Cemetery west of Uniontown.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home in Fort Scott, KS.
