1824 - February 22, 1878
David was the son of Rees Madison and Elizabeth Bowen Ward and was born in Tazewell County, VA. He married Elizabeth Hayward in 1846, probably in MO. She was born in 1828 in NY and died before 1862, where is unknown.
Their children were: Elizabeth born 1844, Luvicy Jane Ward-Ralston,1848 and Hiram Hayward Ward, 1850.
After Elizabeth's death David and Nancy Ann Dyer were married on July 31, 1862 in Bourbon Co., KS. She was born Oct. 18, 1833 in Clay Co., IN and died in Rose, Woodson Co., KS. Their child was Olive Belle Ward born 9/22/1870 in Bourbon Co., KS.
