Melony Amanda Beerbower, age 28, resident of Uniontown, Kansas, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, as the result of an automobile accident in Uniontown.
She was born November 12, 1982 in Fort Scott, the daughter of Alvin Beerbower and Mary Weyant Beerbower.
Melony was a graduate of Uniontown High School and a current client of Tri-Valley Developmental Services.
She loved to listen to music, watch movies, read the Bible and play with her dog, "Peewee".
Survivors include her father and mother, Alvin and Mary Beerbower, Uniontown, Kansas; one brother, Marshall Beerbower and Stephanie George, Fort Scott; two sisters, Mindy Carpenter and husband Dale, Uniontown, Mary Binford and husband Joshua, Fort Scott; and maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Goldie and Larry Arndt, Uniontown. Also surviving is a niece, Cheyanne Carpenter and three nephews, Dylan Carpenter, Aiden Binford and Brennan Binford.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Miles Weyant and paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Nelda Beerbower.
Pastor Marty DeWitt will conduct funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 13th, in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Private family burial will follow in the Uniontown Cemetery.
