Born & Died in Newton, Harvey County, Kansas
Ruby was the only child of Charles and Orenna. She was born in Newton and attended school here. Her voice early gave promise of singing qualities and in later years had proven a delight to those that could hear her sing.Her illness was in the form of inflammatory rheumatism which affected her heart.
