Barbara Jean Anderson died at the home of her parents, Mr & Mrs Floyd Anderson, 533 East Eleventh Street, Saturday morning. She was born in Concordia, April 20, 1946 and was nine years of age. Barbara Jean was in the fourth grade at Lincoln school. She had been ill since November 5, 1955.
She is survived by her parents, six brothers and four sisters: Floyd Anderson, Jr, Great Bend; James Anderson, Russell; Charles Richard, serving in the Air Force Station at Geneva, NY; Roy, Concordia; Elton, Robert, Florence, Dorothy, Frances and Virginia of the home. Also surviving are her grandparents, Mr & Mrs Archie Birch (sic), Scandia.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, at two o'clock at the Wesleyan Methodist church, in charge of Rev Harold Hotchkiss. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
