Wife of George F Andrews (1904 - 1962)
ELLSWORTH - Martha E Andrews, 101, died June 6, 2009, in Ellsworth. She was born Jan. 22, 1908, in Superior, Neb., to David and May Qubit Elliott. Martha was a homemaker and teacher. She was a member of Kansas Cattlewomen, founding member of Ellsworth County Historical Society, and the author of "He was the Sherman Ranch."
On June 6, 1935, she married George F Andrews. He died Oct 30, 1962. She was also preceded in death by four brothers. Martha is survived by: a son, Charles, Kanopolis; a daughter, Jeannette Gregg, Polson, Mont; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
