Obituary:
Frank Watson, of Floral, sent to Ft. Funston With Last Contingent Died of Pneumonia.
Frank Watson, a young soldier of the national army from Cowley county, died last evening of pneumonia at Camp Funston. Mr. Watson was 26 years of age. He has lived at Floral for many years, and worked much of the time at Bates Brothers Nursery. He is the son of William Watson and bore a reputation around Floral of being a fine clean young man, one of the best young men of the county. He went to Camp Funston with the last contingent only two weeks ago. The body is expected to arrive in Winfield this evening. While no arrangements have been announced for the funeral service, it is expected they will be held at Floral.

Funeral Notice
The funeral of Frank Watson who died at Camp Funston Sunday evening will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock at Floral. Burial will be made in the Floral cemetery.
