Geraldine Marie (Christy) Frambers, 100, died Monday, April 22, 2019, in Farmington, Minn.
She was born June 19, 1918, in Arkansas City, to Ollie and Rose (Stanley) Christy. After graduating from Arkansas City High School in 1936, she attended Arkansas City Junior College and Southwestern College. She was a school teacher in the Arkansas City School system for 24 years. She married Howard David Frambers on Sept. 12, 1937, in Arkansas City, where they made their home and celebrated 55 years of marriage.
