Melvin D Ford, 80, died Friday, September 17, 2010, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
He was born December 28, 1929, in Zenda, to Jesse J and Amy L Lattimore Ford.
He married Rosalee Owen February 25, 1956,in Ulysses.
A resident of Grant County since 1933, he and his wife farmed and raised cattle and hogs.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Justin Ford of Ulysses; a daughter, Dena White of Garden City; a brother, Zeke Ford of Ulysses; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Delores Gee, Wanda Winger, Naomi Heffelmire and Shirley Medlin.
