Aged 36 years
At the age of 5, the family moved to Illinois and then to Kansas in 1860. At the age of 15 Chrisup went to the Wyoming Territory where he spent some 15 years. He returned to Kansas in 1881 and with his brother Isaac purchased a farm, they commenced to farming and raising livestock. On July 10, 1883, he married Mrs Julia Wilson of Eureka. He died at his farm at the age of 37, from the measles after some 8 days of the illness. At the time his obituary was written, he left his wife, 4 brothers and 2 small children, Murray and Myrell to mourn his death. Isaac, his brother, is buried along side him. Julia later remarried to H C Kendrick.
