OBITUARY
OBIT (Eureka Herald, September 19, 1907)
Thomas N. Robb one of the oldest and most respected citizens of this county, died at his home in Neal Sunday, September 15th, aged 76 years, 8 months and 17 days. Thomas Newell Robb was born at Elkhart, Indiana, December 29, 1830.
In 1853 he was united in marriage to Miss Issabel Carrick. To this union were born five children, four of whom, William E. and Walter N. of Neal, Mrs. E.N. Turney of Hunter, Oklahoma and Harry Robb of Parsons, Kansas survive.
Mr. Robb served through the war in the 4th Iowa Cavalry.
In 1874 he removed to Kansas locating on a farm near Neal, where he resided until the death of his wife, when he moved to Neal.
The funeral services, under the auspices of the Grand Army of the Republic and conducted by Rev. White were held from the Methodist Episcopal Church at Neal Tuesday afternoon.
