OBITUARY
Donald J Cook, 75, died Friday, August 18, 2006, at his home in Rose, Kansas. He was born July 4, 1931, in Yates Center, Kansas, to Henry Golden and Monte Goodale-Cook. He was a truck driver for Missouri Pacific and for Ronco Trucking company, retiring in 1992. He attended school in Yates Center, Kansas, and served in the United States Navy. He was married to Martha Collins on October 17, 1956, in Iola, Kansas. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Donald James "D J" Cook, Kansas City, Kansas; 4 daughters, Cindy Purtee, Kansas City, Kansas; Sandra Morrison, Yates Center, Kansas; Carolyn Randolph, Kansas City, Kansas; Marsha McVey, Yates Center; Kansas; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
