Flora Belle Staples was born to George and Allie Staples, April 10,1867 in Brown county, Indiana, died March 29,1923, age 55 years, 11 months, 19 days. She leaves to mourn her loss, one sister, one brother, three half sisters, one half brother and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded to rest by her father and mother.
She united with the Seventh Day Adventist church in 1893 and lived faithful to her pledges to that faith. She was of a very sunny disposition despite her afflictions. After the death of her mother, she came to live with her sister. Her life was given almost entirely to the work of the Master, and she was never happier than when she was reading from the precious word of God.
Her funeral text was Revelations 14:13. Seven Day Adventist preacher came from Topeka and preached her funeral.
