Obituary
Dawn R Hedges Carlson, 52, died Monday, February 5, 2007, at Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was born February 21, 1954, in Garden City, to Donald E and Rosella M.Anderson Hedges. She was a graduate of Scott Community High School and attended Kansas State University. A resident of both Scott City and Golden, Colorado, Mrs Carlson was in the insurance business and was a past president of the Colorado Claims Association and the Denver Claims Association. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Scott City.
On October 2, 1982, she married Richard Carlson in Lincoln, Nebraska. He survives. Other survivors include daughters. April Kempen of Littleton, Colorado and Jody Leuthold of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; her parents, of Scott City; brothers, Thane Hedges of Scott City, and Michael Hedges of Littleton, Colorado and three grandsons.
