Obituary
Gerald Farr Sr., 86, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City. Survivors in this area include a son, Marvin D. Farr of Emporia.
Mr. Farr, a self-employed mechanic, moved from Walnut, Calif., to Garden City in 1964. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Price and Sons Funeral Home at Scott City. Burial will be in Scott County Cemetery at Scott City. Friends may call 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday at the Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City and from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Price and Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
Memorial contributions in his name may be sent in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, KS 67846-5431.
