Randy S Diveley, 55, of rural Coffeyville passed away Tuesday,October 16, 2007 at his home.He was born December 28, 1951, in Coffeyville to Richard "Dick" and Leita Decow Diveley. He grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1970 and Coffeyville Community College, before attending and graduating from Emporia State University with degrees in Business and Fine Art. On October 8, 1977 he married Nancy Barnard at Independence, Kansas. Following their marriage they made their home in the Coffeyville area where Randy was employed for 23 years in the Maintenance Department at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Tyro Christian Church where he was a Teacher for the 2 and 3 year olds. He also watched Praise Band members children during practices. Randy filled in for his father at Red Raven football games shooting the shotgun after each Ravens score many times and along with his son Landon began shooting the shotguns the last two seasons at the Red Ravens games. Survivors include his wife, Nancy of the home, sons, Landon and Jenny Diveley of Independence, and Logan and Sara Diveley of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; daughters, Laecen and Josh Seese of Lima, Ohio; and Laurin Diveley of Pittsburg, Kansas; his mother, Leita Diveley of Coffeyville, brother, Kent and Kim Diveley of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and grandson, Trenton Diveley of Independence. He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials are suggested to the Dick Diveley Scholarship Fund established at Coffeyville Community College; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed c/o David W Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, Kansas 67337.
