Obituary
Vera Alberta Fyler, 83, died Saturday, October 18, 2008, at Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born January 22, 1925, in Otis, Kansas to David and Katie Helwig Schlegel. After losing her mother at the age of 2, her father married Mollie Gross who then raised her. A resident of Scott City since 1947, moving from Bison, Kansas Mrs Fyler was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star, both at Scott City.
