Obituary
Jeanette Lee Green, 63, died on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at the Hays Medical Center.

She was born on July 23, 1945, in Garden City to Walton and D. Lucille Dean Pinkston.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, she was a homemaker and dog groomer. She loved attending 4-H functions, dog shows and the Kansas State Fair.

Mrs. Green was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scott City, ASC of Kansas, ASCA, American Quarter Horse Association, KWHA, El Quartelejo Saddle Club, Dusty Boots Saddle Club, Pence EHU, AKC Garden City Kennel Club, Senior Center Quilting Group, Election Board and the Stomper Club, and she was a 4-H leader.

On May 17, 1962, she married Hubert H Green in Scott City. He died on July 18, 1982, in Scott County.

She is survived by a son, Howard Green of Scott City; two daughters, Kris Kaye Green of Tulsa, Okla., and Lee Ann Fellhoelter of Menlo; a grandson; seven granddaughters; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral was at the First Baptist Church in Scott City. Interment was at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.
