GEORGE RAY BEAMAN
George Ray Beaman, 81, Uniontown, died Saturday at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
He was born January 14, 1890, the son of George and Effie Hinton Beaman. On Oct. 1, 1911, he married Ruth Turner at Fort Scott. She died in 1967. Mr. Beaman farmed near Uniontown and was a former state employee and car salesman. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge at Uniontown.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George (Lula) Shull, Redding, Calif., Mrs. Ted (Ethel) Olsen, El Centro, Calif., and Mrs. W. J. (Ina) Nicolini, Fresno, Calif.; two sons, Gerald Beaman of Holtville, Calif., and Harold Beaman of Wichita, and eight grandchildren. Mr. Beaman was the last of his family.
Funeral services were held Tuesday (Nov. 23) at the Uniontown Methodist Church with Rev. Deane Endicott officiating. Burial was in Uniontown Cemetery under the direction of Ralston-Hutton Funeral Home of Moran.
The family suggested memorial contributions be made to the Bourbon County Association for Retarded Children and can be sent to the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth C. Beaman, 73, lifetime resident of Uniontown, will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at the Uniontown Methodist Church. Rev. Ron Farrell and Rev. Deane Endicott will officiate. Interment will be in Uniontown Cemetery.
Mrs. Beaman was born April 19, 1893, the daughter of John and Eliza Brown Turner. On Oct. 1, 1911, she married Ray G. Beaman at Fort Scott. They farmed in the Uniontown area until moving 12 years ago to Uniontown.
Surviving besides the husband of the home are three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Ted (Ethel) Olsen, El Centro, Calif.; Mrs. George (Lula) Shull, Redding, Calif.; Mrs. W. J. (Ina) Nicholini, Fresno, Calif.; Harold Beaman, Wichita; and Gerald Beaman, Holtville, Calif. There are eight grandchildren. Mrs. Beaman was the last of her family.
The family suggests as a memorial to Mrs. Beaman that contributions be made to the Bourbon County Association for Retarded Children. Contributions can be sent to Ralston-Hutton Funeral Home, Moran.

Daughter, Ina Hazel Beaman Nicoloni was cremated and buried in Calvary Cemetery, Fresno, Fresno Co., CA with her husband William J. Nicoloni.

Daughter, Ethel Viola Beaman Olsen was cremated and buried in Utica Cemetery, Judith Basin Co., MT with her husband Theodore W. "Ted" Olsen and her son, Theodore Ray "Teddy" Olsen.
