I believe this to be George Rose, Ben H Unruh's brother-in-law, who had moved to New Mexico earlier in the year and came back to help Ben thru harvest. He was kicked by a
horse and died before the wife and kids arrived from around Clayton, New Mexico. He was born in Russia and died in Pawnee Rock. He was married to Elizabeth Unruh; she later remarried and eventually died in El Paso, Texas.
