MILITARY:
For a time Isaac served with Company H, 9th Regiment, Kentucky Infantry during the Civil War. He was 24 when he enlisted on October 25, 1861 at Campbellville, Kentucky. According to his enlistment records he was 5'4" in height, his complexion was "dark" his eyes were "blue" and his hair color was "light". He fought at the Battle of Shiloh on April 7, 1862.
