Earl W. Dahl, 70, Uniontown, died at Mercy Hospital Thursday (July 27). He was born at Elsmore April 2, 1902, the son of Victor R. and Johanna Olson Dahl. He married Ruth McKinnis Bishard Aug. 19, 1965 at Uniontown.
He was a member of the Uniontown Baptist Church, Excelsior Lodge 115, Mary A. Hepler 434 OES.
He lived in Elsmore until moving to Uniontown 17 years ago. He was a farmer until 1955 and has operated the Fina bulk business around Uniontown since.
Survivors were his wife of the home, a step-son, Tom Bishard, Topeka; two brothers Robert Dahl, Topeka; and John Dahl, Savonburg; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Hewitt, Mapleton; Miss Harriet Dahl, San Diego; Mrs. Pearl Partridge, Phoenix, AZ; and Mrs. Margaret Landis, Kansas City.
Funeral services were held on Saturday (July 29) at the Uniontown Baptist Church with Rev. Lyman Lawver officiating. Interment was in the Uniontown Cemetery.
