Kaley Blythe, 68, Route 1, Uniontown, died Friday, Feb. 1, 1991, at Fort Scott Mercy Hospital. He was born May 1, 1922, at Fulton, the son of George Leo and Helen May Kaley Blythe. He married Julia J. Ramsey Dec. 31, 1946, at Fort Scott.
Mr. Blythe had farmed since the spring of 1948. He was dedicated to his work with land, cattle and horses. Mr. Blythe was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church at Uniontown and a former member of the Kansas Livestock Association.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Brad Kaley Blythe, Sabetha, Kan., and Bud Nelson Blythe, Uniontown; two daughters, Etta Kaylene Jones, Moran, and Terry Kay Cox, Mound City; a brother, Nelson Blythe, St. Louis, Mo.; and seven grandchildren. Ruth Moudy, Fort Scott, is his aunt. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lorene Hamilton.
The Rev. Rusty Newman will conduct services were Monday afternoon at the First Missionary Baptist Church, Uniontown.
Burial was in Uniontown Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation for research in the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Department. Memorials may be left at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
Services are pending at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
