Nov. 23, 1923 - May 12, 1972
Mrs. Velma Mae Clark, 48, of Uniontown died unexpectedly at Mercy Hospital in Ft. Scott, KS on Friday, May 12, 1972.
She was born at Hiatville, November 23, 1923 the daughter of Clyde C. and Vera Mae Hunziker Neil. She married Russell G. Clark March 24, 1940 at Uniontown. He survives at the home.
Mrs. Clark was a member of the Uniontown Methodist Church and the WSCS.
Survivors include two children, Robert Clark of Ft. Scott and Mrs. Elmer (Joyce) Zimmerman of Hoisington, Kan.; her father, Clyde C. Neil of Sedalia, Mo.; her mother, Mrs. Vera Mae Neil of Uniontown; and a sister, Mrs. Earl (Virginia) Stevens of Uniontown. There are two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Uniontown United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Eflin officiating. Interment was in the Uniontown Cemetery. The casket remained closed during the service.
