This is the Dalton brother that never turned bad. He was a lawman. Judge Isaac Parker commissioned him a Deputy US Marshal in 1884 and he remaine a marshal until he was killed in the line of duty. His brothers were also lawmen at some time and his brother Grat served on Posses with him. But the brothers all crossed over the line.
