son of Andrew and Katherine Morlan MacArthur. He lived all of his life in the Welcome Community until 1974 when he and his family moved to 2105 Seaton Avenue in Manhattan. He had been a member of the Welcome Presbyterian Church until moving to Manhattan: When he and his family joined the Trinity Presbyterian Church. He was preceeded in death by two sons: Howard MacArthur March 6th 1945 during World war II and Ivan MacArthur, November 27th, 1952. He is survived by his wife Vida Lillian Anderson MacArthur/ they were married March 30, 1921 in Eskridge, Kansas and had celebrated their 56th wedding Anniversary this year. Two sons: Chester A MacArthur of Hutchinson and Donald H MacArthur of 2105 Seaton, Manhattan, two Daughters: Wilima P Clark, Renton, Washington and Eleanor Louise MacArthur of 2105 Seaton, Manhattan. Eight grandsons and three Great Grand Daughters. Two Brothers: Orville MacArthur of Alta Vista, Kansas and Ray MacArthur of Richmond, Kansas
