Born in Somerset County, PA to Daniel & Nancy(McKnight) Hager.
He enlisted in the Kansas State Militia 19 Oct 1861. He was promoted to Corporal 6 Mar 1862.
His death was due to a hemorrhage of the lungs. He died in Leavenworth County, Kansas June 22, 1862.
According to records from the Veterans Administration, Michael Heland Langley made application for the headstone 29 November, 1879.
No other information has been found on this individual.
