Obituary
Death OF D D Loveall
Daniel David Loveall died Saturday at the home of his daughter on Park street. Funeral Services were held at the Methodist church conducted by Reverend W E Rose. Interment was made in the Soldiers' Home Cemetery at Ft Dodge.
Daniel Loveall was born September 15, 1845, in Adair county, Ky. He moved to Missouri with his parents and spent most of his life as a farmer. At the outbreak of the Civil War, Mr Loveall, who was but eighteen years of age, enlisted in the Cavalry, serving under Colonel Gravly, Company G, Eighth Missouri. He served throughout the war and in one battle his horse was shot from under him by a cannon ball. Mr Loveall was honorably discharged in 1864.
Mr Loveall was married April 30, 1865 to Ann F Sweany. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons. Mr & Mrs Loveall were visiting in Dodge City when he passed away. Mr Loveall was a devout Christian and his last words were a quotation from Paul.
