Death summons came to Fredrick W Thimm aged 81 years, Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock at Bethel hospital where he had been during the last nine days of a lingering illness. He had been a resident of Newton for forty years and a well known laborer of the Santa Fe Co, for many years. He is survived by his widow, sons, Martin and Gustav of Newton, Jake of Belle Plain, John of Lehigh and Daughter, Mrs. Anna Hodgson of Kansas City.
The body will be taken from the Sprinker-Carter Chapel to the home of Martin Thimm at 115 Old Main Monday morning. A brief funeral service will be held at the home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at the Lutheran church at 2:30 conducted by Rev Wm C Droegemuller, pastor of the church. Interment will be made in Greenwood.
