John's first wife was Mary J Gum, his second wife was Mary E McCoy.
They following information is from Mary McCoy's memorial on Find A Grave.
Kansas Veterans Cemetery. She was buried there in 1918. Husband John H Craig was to be buried there also when he died. Either John's children were not aware of that plan or did not agree with that plan and buried him in a family plot in a private cemetery.
