1. From the intersection of Highway 54 and State Street (light) in Iola, KS, go straight West on Highway 54 for (.2) of a mile. (about the distance of 2 city blocks) to the west city limits.
2. The cemetery is on the North side of the highway. There is no sign with name, but the entrance has 2 brick columns. This cemetery is well-maintained.


History -- On November 14, 1863, James and Sarah T. McDonald deeded to the Trustees of the Iola Cemetery Association, a plot of ground containing 5 acres.

Location -- Iola Cemetery (also known as Iola City Cemetery) is located on the west side of Iola, Kansas, in the Southeast quarter of Section twenty-seven, Township twenty-four, South of Range eighteen East.
