"Mrs. Hazel K Fulghum died the evening of February 14 at the Plainville Hospital, where she had been a patient for 3 weeks. She was 88 years of age and had spent a good portion of her life in this area. She was born on a farm in Phillips County. For quite a number of years she had made her home in Stockton and had many friends here. She was a life member of the Eastern Star chapter at Hollyrood and was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Stockton. She was preceded in death in 1950 by her husband Ernest. She is survived by son, Ernest B of Glade, Kansas, brother Donnie Kincaid of Stockton, sister Mrs Addie McGee of Buffalo, Oklahoma and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at the Smith Memorial Chapel, conducted by Rev Clayton and burial will be in the Bow Creek Cemetery."
