Obituary:
Ronald A. Beery, 90, Winfield, died Monday, March 21, 2005, at Winfield Rest Haven. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. today. The family will greet friends from 6-7 p.m. Born Feb. 28, 1915, in Powshier County, Iowa, he was the son of Glen and Lavina (Wylie) Beery. He worked at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita as a flight line technician, then managed Harmon Level Company and retired when it closed. Survivors include his wife, Letty (Kimberlin) Beery of the home; daughter, Sharon Crittendon of Winfield; sister, Leretha Teter of Barlesville, Okla.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Darlene Rundle, Letitia Rader, Tlelene Beery.
