(Birth and Death Records of Kearny County for birth and death dates, August 13, 1907 and June 24, 1909, gives name as R. J. Redington. Letter received October, 1976, from Mrs. Kenneth Watson, R 1, Box 58A, Neodesha, Kansas, stating her mother, Mrs. Chas H. Redington, wanted to put a marker on a sons grave at Hartland Cemetery, gives death date as July 1909.)

The two year old and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Redington was buried in the Hartland Cemetery, Friday.
Headstone has Russell Jack but other records show Russell Walter.
