GUS WOJNOWSKI
TESCOTT — The funeral for Gus Wojnowski, 60, Tescott, will be at 2 pm Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Tescott, the Rev. C. D. Boese officiating. Burial will be in the Franklin cemetery, Tescott.
Mr. Wojnowski, an employe of the Tescott Cheese Co., died Wednesday at the Ottawa County hospital, Minneapolis. He was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Chicago. He served with the Army in the Rhinelands, Ardennes and Central European campaigns of World War 2. After the war, he moved to Tescott and belonged to the American Legion here.
Surviving are the widow, Lottie, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Marsha Ellexson, Beverly; 3 sisters, Mrs. Virginia Sylvester, Mrs. Reggie White and Mrs. Rene Wayne, all of Chicago, and one grandchild.
The family suggests memorials to the United Methodist Church. Friends may call at the Haley-Shields funeral home, Minneapolis.
