Clea V. Lee, 87, Tescott, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Salina Regional Health Center, surrounded by her family. She was born north of Tescott on December 30, 1927 to Carl and Alberta (Abell) Nelson.

Clea was a 1946 graduate of Salina High School. On September 25, 1949 she was united in marriage to James Lee in Tescott. Clea spent all of her married life in the Tescott area. She was a farmer’s wife and housekeeper. Clea also worked for Southwestern Bell, Tescott Grain, Tescott General Store, and Tescott Cheese Factory. She volunteered as a 4-H leader in foods and sewing with the Culver Livewires as well as caretaker of the Tescott City Park flowers for over eight years. Clea was the recipient of the T.E. Scott award in 2001.

Clea was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tescott.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jim; son Randy; and brothers Reese and Joe Nelson.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, September 12, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Tescott. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
