Terrence Todd King,18, of Tescott,Ks., funeral service will be held at 3pm today at the Tescott High School gymnasium, the Rev Robert Turner officating. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery with military rites.
He was born April 27, 1973, at Salina and was a lifelong resident of Tescott. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1991 and was assigned to NATCC_Naval Air Station, Millington, for advanced individual training. He was a lance Corporal. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church, Ada. In high school he participated in the band, football, and track and was a member of the State Lions Band in 1990.
A sister, Darci Nicole King, died in 1982.
Survivors include his parents, Duane and Cathy King of Tescott; three brothers, Rick of Tescott, Kevin of Salina and Darren of Ellsworth; two sisters, Deborah Webb of Brookville and Diana Selbert of West Valley City, UT. His grandmother Gretchen King Weeden of Miami, OK.
The Shields Funeral Home of Minneapolis is in charge of arrangements.
The Naval Investigative Service is investigating his death, which appears to be accidental.
