Obituary
Virginia Mae DeWitt, 82, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Scott County Hospital in Scott City.
She was born March 27, 1931, in Hillsboro, Kansas to David and Eva Janzen Krause.A resident of Scott City since 1962, Mrs DeWitt was a hairdresser.On March 23, 1952, she married George DeWitt in Deerfield,Kansas. He died October 28, 2008, in Scott City. She also was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather Glen Morford; and brother, Lloyd Krause. Survivors include sons, David DeWitt of Wamego,Kansas and Patrick DeWitt of Garden City,Kansas. daughters, Shawn Foster and Lori DeWitt, both of Scott City; sister, Eyvonne Crase of Garden City; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
