1867 - May 26, 1939
Joseph was born near Uniontown, Bourbon county, KS the son of Andrew Elder and Nancy Daniels Kidwell. He was married twice. With his first wife Lou (Dickson) Kidwell, they had a son who sadly died shortly after birth. Joseph's second wife's name was Kate (Shepard) Kidwell. They had no children. He died near Girard, Crawford Co., KS.
Joseph shares a gravestone with his sister Ellen.
