July 30, 1860 - November 10. 1934
Melvina died at the home of her granddaughter Lena (Robinson) Stewart. Melvina came to Kansas in 1862 with her parents, Andrew Elder and Nancy Daniels Kidwell, and was married on July 3, 1884 to Jeraldo "Ral" McQueen. They had 2 daughters, Gertrude and Gladys. All are buried in the Hatch cemetery.
Melvina's sister, Ellen, married Ernest McQueen who was Melvina's husband's brother.
