Mrs. Edith Blanche Pool, 78, of 719 S. Wilson, died at the Golden Age Lodge Sunday at 4:35 p.m. She had been in failing health for some time.
She was born in Oklahoma, June 15, 1893, the daughter of James S. and Mary Adella Wolf Robinson. She moved with her parents as a child to the Uniontown area. She married Ernest H. Pool on October 1, 1913, at Fort Scott. the couple lived in the Uniontown and Bronson area before moving to Fort Scott in 1945. Mrs. Pool was a member of the Bronson Methodist Church.
She is survived by the husband of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Ruth) Buchanan of Osawatomie and Mrs. George David (Lorene) Bearman of Topeka; two brothers, Clarence and Charles Robinson, both of Chico, Calif., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Earl's Memorial Home with Rev. Calvin Dickinson officiating. Burial will be in Hatch Cemetery.
