Kansas

May 25, 1868 - February 5, 1927

Uniontown Cicerone, February 7, 1927
Mrs. Ed. Wolf Dead.
The friends and relatives of Mrs. Ed Wolf were greatly shocked when the news came, Monday, that she had died at Mayo Bros. Hospital, at Rochester, Minn., Saturday, after she had been operated on for goiter. Her death was not caused from the operation but from an acute kidney trouble which developed after going to the hospital.
Her funeral was held at the Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Moslander, of Savonburg. She was buried in the Hatch Cemetery. The useful life of another good and worthy woman, faithful wife and devoted mother was closed forever.

Lydia Stewart was born in Tennessee in 1868 and died Saturday, February 5, at the age of 58 years, 8 months, and 5 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stewart and was born in DeKalb Co., Ind., and came to Kansas with her parents when a baby. They located on a farm southwest of Bronson. She was united in marriage to Ed Wolf, who survives her. She leaves four children: Bessie, Ora, Hubert, and Herbert Wolf, to mourn her loss; also ten grandchildren, one sister and three brothers. She was a member of the Methodist Church for several years.
The entire community extends its sincere sympathy to Mr. Wolf and family.
