Matilda Angeline Rhoton was born in Uniontown, Bourbon, Kansas to parents Eli and Martha Jane Haddock Rhoton. She married Bertie Elmer Wilson on June 25, 1902 and they had four children, Clara Evaline Wilson (Roweth), Robert Eli Wilson, Milton Earl Wilson and Edith Angeline Wilson.
