Shirley Ann Hoeffner, 77, of Salina, died Monday, August 1, 2011.
She was born July 1, 1934, in Salina, daughter of Elmer and Izetta (Oldfield) Lamer. She worked as a nurse's aide and later was employed at Tony's Pizza Service. She was a member of the Salvation Army and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. Shirley enjoyed needlepoint, bingo and bowling.
She was preceded in death by husband Carl Joseph Hoeffner; daughter Mary Raylene Hoeffner; brother Jack Lamer and her parents.
Survivors include sons Jerry and wife Linda of Milford, Albert of Salina and Gregory and wife Jennifer Sexton of Burton; daughters Carla Terry and husband Michael of McPherson and Melody Giles of Salina; brothers Walter Lamer of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Darrell Lamer of Salina; sisters Carolyn Fisher of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Margaret Boes of Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
