Hartzell Woolley was born August 13, 1905, at Osborne, Kansas and died December 12, 1976 after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home in Salina.,

He was one of the veterans of the Salina real estate business. He came to Salina 50 years ago and had been associated with the Dodge Agency and Homestead Building and Loan for 35 years. He had attended Kansas Wesleyan.

According to his obituary in the Salina Journal "while real estate was his vocation, Mr Woolley's love was politics. For many years he was an active worker in the Democratic party and maintained an interest in civic affairs." He was a member of St John's Lutheran church, a former member of the church council and a member of the Salina Board of Realtors.

Survivors were wife Neva E; son, Arthur T Woolley; sisters, Mrs Lucille Brown and Mrs. Gladys Storer; foster-sister Mrs Josephine Robison; and 2 grand children.

Neva E Woolley was born Neva Elizabeth Toll April 26, 1910, in rural Saline County, Kansas and died March 9, 2002. She was a secretary for several law offices and for International Harvester and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Hartzell Woolley in 1976. Survivors included son Arthur Woolley; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
