February 10, 1856 - February 20, 1925
Frank came from Illinois with his family to Chase Co, KS before 1870. With his brothers George and Columbus, he began ranching first in Barber Co and then in 1884, settled his family in Grant County where he spent the rest of his life primarily as a cattle rancher. History of Grant County

They had 11 Children 5 grew to adulthood known children: Canary, Goldie, Dearie, Pearle, Grace, Frank W, Claude, Preston, Ola and Carrie
Note; The gravestone shows a birth year for Frank as 1885. Frank and Amy were married by the 1880 census and his age at the time was 25
