Angela Dawn Crosetto Coons, 24, died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Via Christi St Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
She was born November 2, 1982, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Larry F and Mary Lou Hughes Crosetto. She was raised in Coffeyville where she graduated from Field Kindley High School in 2001. She received an associate degree from Coffeyville Community College and then attended Pittsburg State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2006. She was united in marriage to Randy Coons May 29, 2002, in Miami, Oklahoma.
She was employed as a case manager with Comcare of Sedgwick County at the time of her death.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Coffeyville. Survivors include her husband, Randy; a son Christian Scott Coons; a daughter, Brooklyn Irene Coons and parents, Larry and Mary Crosetto, all of Coffeyville, Kansas; her sister and husband, Teresa and Matthew Bowman of Lawrence, Kansas; paternal grandmother, Virginia Crosetto of Coffeyville, KS; maternal grandparents, Jack and Allene Hughes of Nowata, Oklahoma many friends and admirers from the Mirza Shrine, Prairie Meadows and Comcare. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. A memorial service will be August 14, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church. A private family committal will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
