Dolly Lavena Beaman was born on August 21, 1917 to George W and Edith E McClary Herren on a farm in Hamilton County, Kansas. She grew up on a farm 8 miles north of Coolidge, Kansas.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd N Beaman January 10, 1945 in Syracuse, Kansas. Dolly went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 8, 2012. She passed peacefully in her sleep at her home in Lakewood, Colorado at the age of 94.
Mrs Beaman was preceded in death by her parents, George and Edith Herren; husband, Lloyd; three brothers – Noah, Elza, and Carl Herren; five sisters – Florence Berndt, Lissie Fay, Gladys Gardner, Thelma Stimatze, and Minnie Kinslow; three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Dolly is survived by her five children: George (Cindy) Beaman, Fort Lupton, Colorado; Rose (Elmer) Keeler, Lakewood, Colorado; Darlene Gillespie, Saguache, Colorado; Lilly Cotton, Commerce City, Colorado; and Ruby McCombs, Greenbrier, Akansas; 16 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
