Kurt Trent Shedeck, died April 30, 1999, at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. He was born March 4, 1950, at Borger, Texas, the son of Richard H and Colleen Crittenden Shedeck. He graduated from Spearman High School, Spearman, Texas, Amarillo College of Auto Mechanics and East Texas State University. A Midland, Texas, resident for the past eight years, having lived most of his life in Spearman, Texas, he was an auto mechanic instructor at Midland Junior College, where he had recently been named teacher of the year. Survivors include: two daughters, Patricia Shedeck Lee, Pukalani, Maui, Hawaii, and Claire Shedeck, Hamlin, Texas; mother, Syracuse; grandmother, Anna Raney, Syracuse; brother, Mike, Dalhart, Texas; a sister, Vicki Wilson, Fritch, Texas; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his father.

SYRACUSE, Kan. — Colleen Shedeck, 89, of Syracuse died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, in Holly, Colo.
Graveside services will be at 2 pm Friday in Coolidge Cemetery in Coolidge with her daughter, Vicki Wilson, officiating. Arrangements are by Peacock Funeral Home of Lamar, Colo.
Mrs Shedeck was born July 23, 1922, in Coolidge to Harry Lance and Ann L Laubach Crittenden.
Survivors include a son, Mike Connie Shedeck of Dalhart, Texas; a daughter, Vicki Wilson of Fritch, Texas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bob Crittenden of Lamar.
